Mortgageforce Limited is a long-established business, partly owned by a top 10 building society and specialising in connecting potential borrowers of residential and commercial finance with a regulated broker.
As part of the Mortgageforce plan for growth and development, there was a requirement to reduce the number of Office based users and at the same time increase the number of remote agents who required access to applications and services remotely. The IT hardware and infrastructure was dated, the software systems in use were bespoke, expensive to maintain and support and insufficient to meet the demands of the business going forward.
Mortgage Force appointed JBC as an IT partner in 2009 and both Companies continue to work together to date.

JBC was recommended to Mortgageforce, our most immediate requirement was for a fast, reliable, and economical IT support service provision for our network infrastructure, servers, software and our user machines.
JBC have provided a high-quality IT support service dealing with our support calls immediately and efficiently via the JBC helpdesk team with remote support and attending on-site as necessary. As part of our cover, we have access to all JBC’s services, an entire IT Department, an IT Account manager, Technical IT Manager, designated helpdesk engineers, an IT procurement service, and an IT installations team.
The next most important task for mortgage force was to update the hardware and software to meet our requirements. JBC worked closely with Mortgage force thoroughly investigating and understanding the functionality of the various applications and bespoke databases in use before providing us with a recommendations proposal. An agreed plan and roadmap allowing a software and hardware upgrade via a phased approach was implemented.
The business was able to operate as normal without any unplanned downtime during the transition period from the old to the new systems.

JBC has continued to remain proactive and continued to advise and recommend changes which have not only reduced our annual IT expenditure but also improved efficiency reliability and performance.
